"In
the 2002 winter I was in Poiana Brasov -unexpected lively resort.
Skiing to your front door in the hotel sport, the cheap price of beer
and food and the people make this resort what it is.
Dracula's castle is a horse driven sleigh ride away which i would
recommend and take time to visit the town of Brasov (some good clubs
(strip and dance!)) and become cultured by the hand of Romanian history.
The slopes are good and the instructors fantasticly friendly and very
professional.
Poiana Brasov is a great place for groups of friends to have a superb
laugh, and also families whith the close-to-resort pool hall and nine
pin bowling alley situated in a pub! (for the dads!) Good ski instructors
and the trip made to Dracula Castle in Bran got me to return next
year."
"I
keep coming in Poiana for years. Because of the good cousine, cheap
ski packages. Here are the best ski instructors I ever meet.
And Brasov, saxonic medieval city is returning to a trevel orientated
city every year. Poiana has a stunning mountain scenary. Royal Castle
Peles in Sinaia is one day trip as well Dracula Castle in Bran."
