Opinion:
"Fabulous place with great ski school and great prices. Suspect you will come back after first visit. I would definatly suggest giving it a go on 3 counts..
1. It is beautiful and unspoilt.
2. Generaly the snow is very good.
3. The ski instructers and the overal atmosphere is good.
Its so cheap, about 60p for 1 pint of beer. Apres ski it brilliant. There is 3 bars, night clubs, bowling etc. Snow was ok, but its better in january. This resort and Alpin hotel is definetly recommended "

"In the 2002 winter I was in Poiana Brasov -unexpected lively resort.
Skiing to your front door in the hotel sport, the cheap price of beer and food and the people make this resort what it is.

The slopes are good and the instructors fantasticly friendly and very professional.
Poiana Brasov is a great place for groups of friends to have a superb laugh, and also families whith the close-to-resort pool hall and nine pin bowling alley situated in a pub! (for the dads!)

Good ski instructors and the trip made to Dracula Castle in Bran got me to return next year."

"I keep coming in Poiana for years. Because of the good cousine, cheap ski packages.
Here are the best ski instructors I ever meet.
In the week-end there are some lines to the lifts as Bucharest is 184 km away and many people use to come to Predeal and Poiana Brasov for skiing. There are two cable-cars and a gondolla to go up to the top and lots of ski lifts. Overall, because of the cheap prices, friendly people and reliable snow ,Poiana is a very good ski resort."
